Nkhwazi school history
The school originally occupied premises in Joseph Mwilwa Road but, as it expanded, the 4-hectare Ituna Road site was acquired in 1974 and the school was finally brought together on the one central, secure and custom-built site in 1992.
Nkhwazi has enjoyed three eras of ownership. Up until 1988 the school was run privately by its founders. In 1988 it was sold to ZCCM Ltd and, for the next decade, operated as part of ZCCM Education Services until, as part of the ZCCM privatisation programme, it was sold in September 1998 to the Lusaka Hindu Association.
