TEACHERS
Ashford Academy is a co-educational non-denominational private boarding school located on a spacious campus on Ngwerere Road, north of Lusaka. It welcomed its first learners in Grade 8, Grade 10 and Grade 11 in January, 2022. In 2023, Ashford will offer all secondary grades, from 8 to 12.
This new school is the newest member of the Rhodes Park Schools Group, which has been at the forefront of private education in Zambia for over five decades.
The campus on which Ashford Academy is located was previously the site of Kaweya Academy, which ceased to operate there in December, 2021. Following this, extensive developments begun to take place, including the completion of the Boys Dormitory and the Dining Hall, refurbishment of the classrooms and ablution facilities, installation of perimeter fencing, sinking of additional boreholes and landscaping works for the sports facilities.
